Roubaix was one of the richest cities in France, thanks to the industrial boom of the early 19th century.
From this period, she has managed to preserve and rehabilitate many places steeped in history. We spent a wonderful day there.

Visit to the Villa Cavrois
Listed as a historic monument in 2001, 12 years of work were required to bring this iconic house back to life. Architect Robert Mallet-Stevens designed the house, furniture, lighting, and grounds, all in a Total Art approach.

Built between 1927 and 1932, this jewel of decorative art now houses the art collections of the city of Roubaix. A magnificent setting for a rich collection.
