Small, already…
"I do not remember a particular moment that destined me for painting. My only certainty lies in the memory, as far back as I can go, of that indescribable pleasure linked to childhood, that enveloping well-being when I colored or took time, a lot of time, to draw."
"How many afternoons did I spend reproducing and coloring the illustrations from the Larousse dictionary with my precious box of 'real watercolors' given to me by my father. Butterflies, beetles, small animals, everything was included..."

A dream can hide another.
"My dream at 17 is to become a Compagnon du Devoir in stained glass..."
My great disappointment: Girls have no place among the Companions.
I discover a documentary about the School and there, I know that this school is for me.
I take the exam and in September 1991, I join the 105th class in the Applied Arts program where I will choose the branch "Visual Expression Option Communication Space."
The principal is then Claude Dubois. The imprint of this remarkable school is indelible: Exceeding oneself; starting over twenty times if it’s not impeccable; curiosity; passion and above all "Stay Simple" are now the foundations for building my life. I love it. I find my teachers amazing, everything I am taught is rich, it makes me want to go further.

The pleasure of learning
"Always attracted by stained glass, I enter the Architecture in Transparency competition at Olivier de Serres and the preparatory class at Duperré. Admitted to both competitions, I ultimately choose Duperré on the advice of my former Principal teacher."
"I will spend a year there without finding a true place, but by strengthening my love for patterns, fabrics, and materials, discovering female artists like Eliane Larus and her cut-out works, the textile work of Milica Zoric, Janet Bolton, and so many others... But above all, I tell myself, 'there are women artists in many disciplines' and that reassures me in a kind of quiet confidence."

In 2003, I met Erwann Kraffe de Laubarède who would quickly become my husband, my precious one, and I moved to settle near him in Brittany where we put all our heart into composing our new life, both family and professional.
"I will pick up the brushes right away and we will set up my first workshop in our house in Brec'h."
I became exclusively a painter at the end of 2003.
"After relentless preparation, in 2007, we set up 'our workshop' with a storefront, in the heart of the city of Auray at 39, rue du château, which will become the Atelier KLE."
